How many of us know what the acronym ?SBNR? means? I?m serious, does anyone know what it means? SBNR stands for ?Spiritual But Not Religious? and is used by some to characterize themselves in terms of their religious identity and/or practice.

I recently was doing some landscaping in my yard that required me to remove some sod. I did it to repair some damage that had been done earlier in this spring. At that time, the new sod, which of course are thin rolls of grass already grown into soil, was easy to remove and work on.

When we need advice about anything, a medical issue, buying a house, a legal matter, we go to an expert, someone highly trained in their field of study or profession. Or at least we go to someone, whether a friend or relative or acquaintance who has some experience.

Tragically, this past week the Twin Cities was struck by the senseless epidemic of workplace violence. A man, who was recently fired from his job, took a gun and shot eight people at his work place killing five men. Please include these victims and their families in your prayers.
