Missions / Benevolence
Missions and Benevolence is charged with analyzing and identifying particular
causes and/or persons and families in need. Organizing activities of service
for members to help these causes/persons/families and/or organizations is
meant to raise awareness of our calling as followers of Christ and provide
opportunities to fulfill that calling.

Loaves and Fishes
The mission of Loaves and Fishes is to provide nutritious meals in an atmosphere
of hospitality to those in need. The program is run by Faith Lutheran Church
in St. Paul, MN and is connected to our community through Philoptochos.
The event occurs every first Monday of every even month at Faith Lutheran
Church (499
Charles Ave, St Paul, MN, 55103).
Philoptochos
Philoptochos Society is the official philanthropic women's organization
of the Greek Orthodox Church of America. They are interested in helping
those who are needy as well as the organizing certain church events. Some
of their activities include:
- Preparation of the Vasilopita in January
- Cheesefare Sunday Meal
- Coffee Hour on various Holidays

Sunday Coffee Hour- Exaltation of the Cross Coffee Hour in September
- Patriarchate Sunday Coffee Hour in November
- Fundraising Events
- Bake Sales
- A Fashion Show
- Charitible Functions
- Visiting of Shut-Ins
- Sending of Flowers, Gifts and Carolling for the Sick and Elderly
- Donation of Money to Those in Need
- Support of Trinity Missions
- Support of the Loaves and Fishes Program
