Authentic food and baked goods, Church tours, the Greek Dancers of Minnesota, a Mediterranean bazaar, music, and much more await guests for the 2024 Greek Summer Festival on Friday, July 26 from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm and Saturday, July 27 from 11:00 am - 8:00 pm located at 1111 Summit Avenue, Saint Paul, MN.

Church Tours

  

Have you ever wondered what St. George Greek Orthodox Church on Summit Avenue looks like inside or what Orthodox Christianity is? Then join us on one of our church tours! They start at 5:00 pm on Friday, July 26 and 11:00 am on Saturday, July 27, and are every hour on the hour (The last tour on Friday begins at 8:00pm. The last tour on Saturday begins at 7:00 pm.).

Our Church Tours will share the basics about St. George’s unique architecture and its symbolism, an introduction to Orthodox Christianity, and allow time for your questions. We are looking forward to welcoming our neighbors inside our church home!

Food

The Greek food tent will be offering an authentic Mediterranean street food menu that will include gyros, souvlaki, salad, and much more.

Dance

The Greek Dancers of Minnesota is a Greek folk dance troupe that strives to promote Hellenic culture and history through dance performances. The group uses authentic Greek costumes from different regions of Greece and Cyprus. They perform powerful and energetic traditional dances of celebration, courtship, and showmanship. The group is composed of men and women of all age groups, and they not only perform traditional Greek dances but instruct and teach festival guests how to Greek dance.

Baked Goods

The bakers are preparing fresh baked goods and desserts made from authentic recipes passed down and preserved from early pioneer immigrant families. Enjoy your favorite pastries in the social hall, the main tent, or order for take-out.

Bazaar

The bazaar features art and craft products, gift items, and apparel imported from overseas that are not readily available in the United States.

Music

Listen and dance to the latest international hits while enjoying your Summer Festival experience.
